Light, bright, quilted figure
Our maple comes from the Pacific Northwest and produces some of the most figured wood in North America: quilt, curl, and burl, in a light cream color that brightens a space.
Ambrosia maple, marked by the gray streaks left along beetle trails, is part of the same family and shows up in our shop as well. Maple takes a dark epoxy river beautifully.
